چکیده

The ultra-high-performance fiber-reinforced cementitious composite (UHPFRC) is a new generation of building material with extremely high mechanical strength and durability, which can be used for ultra-high, thin-wall or long-span construction, that prolongs the service life construction in severe environments. In this study, UHPFRC was prepared range local ecological admixture to decrease material’s cost environmental impact. Raw materials’ proportions, water/binder ratio, fiber-volume contents, hybrid-fiber ratio were studied on property improvement UHPFRC, an F-test analysis induced reveal important significance compressive strength. results demonstrated 237.8 MPa achieved mineral substitution over 40%. particle-packing density binder reactivity both succeeded Water/binder determined hydration degree flowability affected through products microstructure. Also, more sensitive than content. order importance powder proportion > content ratio.

Microstructure variability and macroscopic composite properties of high performance fiber reinforced cementitious composites

High performance fiber reinforced cementitious composites have made major advances in recent years, to the point where they are being adopted in building and bridge constructions. The most significant advantage of HPFRCC over conventional concrete is their high tensile ductility. However, the tensile strain capacity has been observed to vary, most likely as a result of the variability of the mi...

High Performance Fiber Reinforced Cementitious Composites as Durable Material for Concrete Structure Repair

This paper addresses the property requirements of repair materials for high durability performance for concrete structure repair. It is proposed that the high tensile strain capacity of High Performance Fiber Reinforced Cementitious Composites (HPFRCC) makes such materials particularly suitable for repair applications, provided that the fresh properties are also adaptable to those required in p...

A Simplified Micromechanical Model of Compressive Strength of Fiber-Reinforced Cementitious Composites

A micromechanical model is constructed for the compressive strength of fiber-reinforced cementitious composites (FRCs). This model is based on the classical models of compressive failure of brittle solids in which sliding microcracks induce wing-crack growth under compression loads. The concept of increased microcrack sliding resistance and wing-crack growth retardation associated with fiber br...

Microrobot Design Using Fiber Reinforced Composites

Mobile microrobots with characteristic dimensions on the order of 1cm are difficult to design using either MEMS (microelectromechanical systems) technology or precision machining. This is due to the challenges associated with constructing the high strength links and high-speed, low-loss joints with micron scale features required for such systems. Here we present an entirely new framework for cr...
